CSSI Awards presented at the 93rd Congress of the Italian Society of Experimental Biology

The 93rd Congress of the Italian Society of Experimental Biology (Società Italiana di Biologia Sperimentale, SIBS) took place on 22-25 April 2021, under also the patronage of the Cell Stress Society International (CSSI). The Congress, held by CISCO-WebEx platform, was attended by over 300 members, including many young researchers, to whom numerous awards were assigned, both for the best oral presentations and the best videoposter.

In the "Cell Stress" Session of the Congress, Stefano Burgio, from Italy, and Ioannis Tsamesidis, from Greece were awarded one-year free memberships in the CSSI. Francesco Cappello, President of SIBS and Senior Fellow of CSSI, congratulated all the young winners and thanked the CSSI board for having contributed to the success of this important meeting.
